This is good news for Denton residents because a new United Way report showed that Denton dies of cancer not heart disease like the rest of the country.

I wonder if the cancer rates in Denton have anything to do with the 7,812+ pieces of Barnett Shale pollution emitters that are emitting carcinogens into the air.

Was woken early this morning by that dreaded hissing sound. Someone was at the compressor doing something, I got a cell phone video of white smoke coming from one side of it. My throat started burning (as it does 99% of the time, whether I’m inside or out).

Two of my neighbors have fled their homes, one has hers for sale, the others left in their RV for a break from this hell.

Just another lovely day in Gasland.

Interesting note by United Way. Doesn’t Julie ‘steam’ Wilson head up the Texas chapter?
