Jay’s life is turned upside down when he and his younger brother Arty are left at their grandmother’s doorstep by their father. Their grandmother is an opinionated German Jewish Immigrant who lives with her daughter Bella and son Louie, who is hiding from the mob. Will Bella decide to stand up to her mother and marry the man she loves? Will Uncle Louie bring trouble upon the family?
