Alaskans for Responsible Mining is a coalition of conservation, Tribal and other interested groups  working on mining issues in Alaska. We foster communication between these groups by providing a forum to share resources, strategies and other information.  Our core values are healthy economies, communities, air, water and land for all current and future Alaskans.  We seek to minimize the damaging local impacts of mining by promoting sound mining practices and by educating policy makers and communities to ensure safeguards for local environmental and social systems.
