In celebration of the 200th anniversary of Norway’s Constitution, the National Constitution Center and the Norwegian-American Chamber of Commerce (Philadelphia Chapter) presents a conversation on the influence of the Founding Fathers and U.S. Constitution on the Norwegian Constitution — just one of the many historic bonds between these two countries. Participating in this discussion is University of Oslo Professor Ola Mestad and University of California Professor Kaare Strøm.
In a special mid-morning event, watch two conversations live in person at the Center on James Madison’s legacy, featuring Madison scholars Burt Neuborne and David O.Stewart, and a program with prominent federal judges.

Smith will chart Rockefeller’s political rise to New York governor, to time in the White House as Vice President, as well as relationships with presidents and political leaders like Franklin D.
