AccessAbility Summit
The Office of Diversity and Community Engagement in partnership with the Office of Student AccessAbility, the Office of Human Resources and Procurement Management are collaborating to address the educational needs and diversity challenges of the community with disabilities. Professionals from the community, faculty, staff, students and caregivers are invited to attend UT Dallas' first AccessAbility Summit.
The event will encompass accessibility standards in Texas and at UT Dallas and includes a panel discussion, an overview of state accessibility laws and an update on the laws that require federal agencies to make their electronic and information technology accessible to people with disabilities.
GOAL: To create further awareness for affected individuals and educational entities alike and to create a partnership between, faculty, staff, students and the administration at UT Dallas.
