Thrift Studio, Dallas' favorite philanthropic pop-up shop, returns to the Design Center on October 10, filled with fabulous vignettes from some of the city's premier designers. Shoppers can score these donated designer goods at significant discounts, and 100 percent of the proceeds benefit Dwell with Dignity.

In addition to the usual set-up, there is a new art gallery aspect featuring original works from local artists as well as from children residing in Dwell With Dignity homes.

Here's a sneak peek at what's in store.

Vignette Inspiration: Still reeling with inspiration from a recent project in which the client loved peacock colors, this team decided to see how far their imaginations could take them. Color, texture and, of course, silk come together to create a fun mix of elegance and whimsy.

Vignette Inspiration: Sexy, provocative, glamorous and masculine are just a few words to describe this Dwell with Dignity vignette. With warm metallic tones and subtle prints, this design team wanted to create a living room space that is comfortable to live in, yet stylish and chic with a modern edge.

Vignette Inspiration: Two words: gaucho chic. This is inspired by the legendary horsemen and colorful cowhands of the romantic South American Pampas. The furnishings and collections set a time-honored tone, rich in history, relaxed and very livable.

Vignette Inspiration: Dinner reservations are forgotten and friends lounge a little longer in this sophisticated playroom. This vignette creation was all about urban luxury that encourages guests to put up their feet (boots or stilettos) and play their favorite record because the night is young here.
