An Arlington elementary school was temporarily on lockdown Tuesday afternoon while police searched the area for a robbery suspect.
Police were working a burglary in progress in the 500 block of Biggs Terrace, around the block from Blanton Elementary School, about 2:20 p.m. Officers found one suspect inside the home and saw another fleeing on foot.
The school made the call to place the campus on lockdown, which was lifted about 4:45 p.m.
Officers established a perimeter and eventually found the second suspect.
