Community Spotlight

House.jpgAre you on your HOA board? Have questions about additional ways to keep your neighborhood safe and aesthetically pleasing? The Town of Flower Mound, in partnership with Community Associations Institute, will host a “Neighborhood Leadership Training: Building Better Neighborhoods through Education” event from 8 to noon on Saturday, November 8 at the Flower Mound Public Library, 3030 Broadmoor Lane. Although the Neighborhood Leadership Training will have great information for all Flower Mound residents, it will be especially geared toward mandatory and voluntary HOA board members. During the event, attendees will learn and discuss information through separate sessions regarding code enforcement, neighborhood safety, sustainable gardening practices, along with a special presentation on HOA legislation and best practices. A continental breakfast will be provided. For more information about the event, including the order of events, and to RSVP, please visit www.flower-mound.com/neighborhoodleadershiptraining or contact Suzanne Le at suzanne.le@flower-mound.com.
