  • "I would rather lop off a toe than do karaoke, but I front a band and feel quite comfortable on that side of the microphone because it's all rehearsed and basically a kind of fakery. And there's other people standing to my left, right and rear who are extremely capable. I'm genuinely shy but find "performing" fairly easy. It's talking to people afterwards that freaks me out."
