Recommendations

Early voting for the Nov. 4 general election runs through Friday, Oct. 31. The Houston Chronicle Editorial Board has interviewed all these candidates and has researched their qualifications and background. These endorsements are the result of that work. We will continue to publish recommendations throughout early voting. We list our endorsements here, roughly in the format they appear on the ballot. Some endorsements have not yet been published in print. We’ll add the live links as they are published.
