Colin Farrell offers reward for lost lucky belt

Colin Farrell has offered £16,000 (€18,000) to anyone who returns his lucky belt.
The Irish actor was gifted the leather accessory by his father, former soccer star Eamonn Farrell. He’s had it for many years and wears it almost every day.
The 35-year-old is understood to have paid around £3,000 (€3,400) having it repaired over the years.
He was devastated to realise it was missing recently, and according to British newspaper The Sun has offered £16,000 (€18,000) to anyone with information about its whereabouts.
“Colin has had this lucky leather belt for so long he just can't bear to get rid of it. The thing is literally coming apart at the seams,” a source told the publication.
“The belt has undergone numerous alterations, like having extra holes punched in it and extra leather added since he has gone through so many weight changes.”
Colin fears the belt has been stolen but remains optimistic about getting it back.
The star has regularly talked of his pride at his sportsman father’s career in the past. Eamonn played for Irish team Shamrock Rovers and Colin loves hearing his dad’s soccer stories.
The actor is also known to be superstitious. He’s previously admitted owning lucky underwear which he wears every time he starts shooting a new movie.
“They're a very special pair of boxer shorts that my brother gave to me a while ago, covered with all these shamrocks, and the waistband says, 'The luck of the Irish,’” he revealed.
"Actually, I wear those on the very first day of every film I do. They're my lucky charm, my lucky shorts. The only problem is, they're getting a bit old now but I can never part with those.
"I honestly don't know what I'd do if I lost them. Probably kill myself."
