As 2014 comes to a close, CMT has revealed their 2014 Artists of the Year.

The Dec. 5 broadcast will honor country’s biggest acts, including Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan and Florida Georgia Line.

The fifth annual CMT Artist of the Year special will air live from Nashville on Dec. 2 at 8 p.m. ET. The show will bring together each of the five artists as well as their colleagues for performances.

This is the first time Urban has been honored; the others have been given the distinction in the past.

According to CMT, each artist was selected for their “impact in country music through massive radio airplay, chart-topping album sales and millions of individual downloads of their current singles.”

“Country music has never been bigger and these five are its biggest stars of 2014,” said John Hamlin, CMT‘s senior vice president of music events and talent. “We do everything we can do to make sure this is the party of the year for them. And rightfully so. They’ve earned it.”

Previous honorees include Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Hunter Hayes, Toby Keith, Lady Antebellum, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Zac Brown Band.

CMT Artist of the Year will air live on CMT from Nashville on Dec. 2 at 8 p.m. ET.
