2. Indiana faces continued searches after bodies discovered, while suspect heads to court

Following the discovery of six women's bodies throughout parts of Gary, Ind., the search will continue for other possible victims on Wednesday tied to suspected serial killer Darren Deon Vann. So far, Gary Police Chief Larry McKinley said 90 homes were inspected; more are planned. Vann is also scheduled to make his first court appearance for the killing of Afrika Hardy in the nearby city of Hammond.

She pleaded guilty to operating an illegal gambling business in connection with a cockfighting enterprise in rural Oregon back in July and will be sentenced Wednesday. Walker and her husband, John, accepted plea deals in which the government dismissed charges of animal fighting and conspiracy to violate the animal welfare act. Walker, 61, is the third daughter of former Romanian King Michael I, who was forced to abdicate by communists in 1947.
