Ben & Jerry’s creates two exclusive flavors available for one day only in D-FW

Ben and Jerry's Bourbon Pecan Pie ice cream has pecans, shortbread cookies and whiskey caramel swirl in it.

Here’s hoping you don’t fall in love easily. Ben & Jerry’s created two new flavors of ice cream — Bourbon Pecan Pie and Bar-B-Que Peach — specifically for Chipotle’s Cultivate Festival on Oct. 18 in Irving. They’re only available on that day, at that fest, so you might want to load up if you find a favorite. (Samples will be free while supplies last.)

More about those flaves:

The Bourbon Pecan Pie is made with “buttery bourbon” ice cream and pecans, shortbread cookie pieces and whiskey caramel swirl.

The Bar-B-Que Peach is made with “Ancho peach” ice cream and peaches and a barbecue caramel swirl. The peaches with the Ancho chile ice cream make for a “warm peach flavor,” says B&J’s chef Eric Fredette.

Cultivate is a “food, ideas and music” fest that comes to Irving after stops in San Francisco and Minneapolis. The day will be stocked with national and local chefs, plus bands like Amos Lee, O.A.R., MS MR, Sylvan Esso and more. There’ll also be local beer and a tasting hall.

Oh yes: and limited-time-only ice cream.
