To the outside world, Drake is one of the more relatable rappers, bearing his emotions in his songs and often poking fun at himself.

But for one person who knows him, that isn’t the real Drake.

Tyga revealed that he’s not team Drake, or team Nicki Minaj for that matter, in his cover story for VibeWhen asked if he’s trying to break away from his label Young Money, run by Lil Wayne, Tyga said, “Yeah, I’m tryna go independent. I don’t really get along with Drake. I don’t really get along with Nicki.”

Pressed to explain why he doesn’t get along with Drake, he elaborated.

“I don’t like Drake as a person,” he said. “He’s just fake to me. I like his music; you know what I’m saying? I think his music is good, but we’re all different people. We were forced together and it was kinda like we were forcing relationships together. “

As for why Tyga stuck it out on a label with both Drake and Nicki, the rapper said that he did it all “because of  (Lil) Wayne and my relationship with him.”

Drake has yet to respond but considering his soft feud with Jay Z — which started when Drake told Rolling Stone, “It’s like Hov can’t drop bars these days without at least four art references…I think the whole rap/art world thing is getting kind of corny” and then rapped “I’ve been talking s**t light, you don’t wanna hear me trip/G*****n, do ya’ll really know who you f**kin with?” —it’s hard to imagine any real drama will come out of this.

Tyga’s The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty is due out Nov. 18, while a collaborative album with Chris Brown, Fan of a Fan 2, could come out, he said, by Christmas but possibly not until 2015.
