How do you get Ebola?
The virus is spread through direct contact with infected bodily fluids such as blood, saliva, urine, vomit and feces. Ebola isn’t spread through the air or through water.
What are symptoms of Ebola?
Ebola can cause fever, headache, diarrhea, vomiting, muscle aches and rash two to 21 days after infection.
DIAGNOSED IN TEXAS
More than 112 contacts and possible contacts of the three known Ebola victims are being monitored for signs of the disease. As of Tuesday, 60 people had completed surveillance and are considered Ebola-free.
