Cincinnati Bell elects new director

Cincinnati Bell (NYSE: CBB) has elected a ninth member of its board of directors.
John Eck was named as a director of Cincinnati Bell effective Oct. 20. Eck is the chief operations officer and executive vice president of operations and technology at Univision Communications. Prior to that, Eck served at NBC Universal for 18 years, most recently as president of media works.
Eck is based out of New York. He graduated from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business.
Brownfield covers retail and restaurants, technology, manufacturing and courts.
