Fastener distributor Lindstrom gets bigger with Georgia acquisition

Fastener distributor Lindstrom has purchased Brunswick, Ga.-based Titan Fastener Products Inc.
Blaine-based Lindstrom did not disclose terms of the transaction.
Titan provides more than 45,000 different packaged products to its fastener- and industrial-distributor customers. It has facilities in Georgia and Chicago.
The acquisition will bring Lindstrom's combined product offering to more than 133,000 products, Lindstrom President Mike Wrenn said in a news release.
Lindstrom is the largest master distributor (selling only to other distributors) of metric fasteners in the U.S. and the exclusive master distributor of Bossard Group products in the U.S.
Lindstrom is owned by St. Louis, Mo.-based investment company Harbour Group.
