The Municipal Planning Board had quite the agenda yesterday, which included reviewing the Orlando Sentinel's downtown Orlando property redevelopment.

The board approved the framework of the redevelopment, known as the Tribune Sentinel master plan, reports the Orlando Sentinel.

It is not known when construction will start for the multi-phase, mixed-use development on the corner of North Orange Avenue and East Colonial Drive.

MPB also approved plans for a new Orlando police headquarters at 1200 W. South St. The next step for the $41.5 million project is getting approval from Orlando City Council, reports News 13.

News 13 reports that the 92,560-square-foot building will be smaller than its current building on South Hughley Avenue.
