Pilot released from Wichita hospital after F-16 collision

A day after being involved in an F-16 mid-air collision, a pilot with minor injuries was released Tuesday from McConnell Air Force Base medical clinic in Wichita, KAKE News reports.
The other pilot involved in the crash was able to safely return to the 138th Fighter Wing in Tulsa after the incident.
Both pilots were assigned to the 138th FW in the Oklahoma Air National Guard. They were conducting a training mission when their jets collided.
