We were fully intending to make this weekly summary of our web activity a clarion call for the scroll bar — many of you have noted that you can’t find content related to shows on air when you visit our Facebook feed during the broadcast. We tend to post topics well in advance of their airtime — usually the afternoon before — but realize that some of our more casual listeners and Facebook visitors looking to weigh in on a timely topic might not know where to go. That, in some sense, is a real disservice to those visitors. Our web audio for the morning’s shows doesn’t post until around 2 PM ET, but there’s still plenty worth talking about during the rolling broadcasts around the country, and we want to help facilitate that conversation, on and off the air. We’re not sure what kinds of changes we will make in our Facebook posting practices, but we’re letting you know here that we see whatever we’re doing now doesn’t always work in the most efficient way, and we’re eager and willing to make a change to help facilitate greater discussion and listener input.
