NEW YORK (WFAN) — The legendary Terry Bradshaw joined WFAN co-hosts Joe Benigno and Evan Roberts for his weekly spot on Wednesday afternoon and — as he’s done before — he addressed the issue he has with NFL games in London.

On Sunday, the Lions will take on the Falcons in London. Kickoff is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. ET.

“I think, as a player, I would enjoy the once-in-a-lifetime trip to go over there and see the sights,” the Fox studio analyst told Joe & Evan. “I would enjoy that once. And that would be enough for me. The NFL, as far as doing it every week … I think, if they see they can make a lot of money, they’ll probably do it. Just like Thursday night, it’s so bad for the players. So bad for a player to have to play on a Thursday.”

Bradshaw fully understands that it all comes down to making money, but he has a problem with the fact that the goal of making money comes at the expense of players’ health.

“Too bad, players,” the Hall of Famer said, impersonating NFL owners. “We love ya and we need ya. Hang in there with us while we just get filthy a– rich … It’s 32 billionaires getting richer at the expense of players. Players know this. We’re grown up with this dream of playing in the NFL and being a part of it, and then we learn just how cold the business is. That’s why so many players leave the game bitter.”

The four-time Super Bowl champion, always good for plenty of laughs, also discussed his opinion of television host Bill O’Reilly, the Jets’ acquisition of wide receiver Percy Harvin and much, much more.
