Steals And Deals: State Fair Discounts
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - You know you’re going to spend money at the State Fair of Texas, so why not try to save on admission?
General admission is $17 but if you buy a ticket from Kroger you can get it for $15.50. And that’s not all.
If you’re at McDonalds, keep an eye out for $3 off admission on tray liners and bag stuffers.
Then there are day-of-the- week deals.
For instance, an empty can of Dr. Pepper will get you off $3 every Tuesday. And after 5 p.m., the empty can will get you $8 off any day of the week.
Wednesdays: You can get of $3 while doing some good. Bring in 3 cans of food for the area food banks to get our discount.
Thursdays – An empty 20 ounce coke bottle will shave off $6.
