LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) - The headquarters of a Texas Tech University fraternity has removed 29 men from membership following an off-campus party last month that included a vulgar banner and display.

Phi Delta Theta International Fraternity said this week after investigating the Sept. 19 event that the members who violated policy or were in leadership positions were removed. Also, the chapter’s charter was placed in escrow until all sanctions are met, including performing 10,000 hours of service to rape crisis and sexual assault prevention organizations.

The remaining members’ activities will be limited and will include education in sexual assault prevention and bystander behavior.

Pictures from the party showed a banner reading, “No means yes, yes means anal (sex).” Another image showed a sprinkler attached to a large cutout shaped like a woman’s spread legs.
