Project Lead, Applications Management - eCommerce (DH)

The Senior Application Analyst role is responsible for assisting in the daily operations for our client's online eCommerce systems, as well as associated third-party and ancillary systems.  To effectively perform this role, the Senior Application Analyst will need to be able to work with customers, developers, support analysts, quality analysts, and management.

The Individual in this role will:

• Assist in business requirements documentation and analysis
• Provide 24x7 on-call support for critical eCommerce transactional systems and support tools
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the web sites and associated systems
• Partner with infrastructure and development team to build high performing production environments for the Neiman Marcus brands
• Work within the SDLC to ensure timely dev / test / production readiness for new builds
• Instrument new releases with appropriate monitors and document SLA and appropriate troubleshooting steps
• Communicate with IT and business partners Operational aspects
• Work with our external partners to ensure that we are appropriately licensed and that our environments are kept up to date
• Assess scope and impact of problem conditions

Qualifications

• Red Hat Linux, AIX, JBoss, Websphere experience
• Demonstrated experience working with bash, korn shell, perl, or python
• Demonstrated project experience in an agile environment
• Experience supporting java based applications
• Understands importance of monitoring, alerting and escalation procedures and creating run books
• Prior experience with Keynote/Gomez, Soasta, Splunk, DynaTrace is a plus. 
• BS in Computer Science / MIS or equivalent work-related experience
• Experience with participation in and management of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processes
• Knowledge of Real Time Application Dashboards showing overall health of the system with trending analysis and particular focus on capacity planning and management
• Ability to envision the future and generate strategies to "change the game"
• Ability to think and act strategically for all stakeholders
• Experience with Agile development and methodologies and SaaS and/or mobile technologies
• Experience working with tools such as Jira, Bamboo, ArtiFactory
• Must possess strong interpersonal communications (oral and written) communication skills
