MILTON, Ga. — North Texas senior Rodolfo Cazaubon fell back in the second round of the NCAA Division I tournament Wednesday after shooting a 2-over-par 72.

Cazaubon started the day tied for eighth place but dropped into a tie for 37th.

Jon Rahm of Arizona State continues to hold the overall lead by one stroke. Rahm is at 7 under, seven strokes ahead of Cazaubon for the national title.

Cazaubon is at even par through two rounds with a score of 140. His second round began with another quick start as he was 2 under after three holes with birdies on Nos. 11 and 12.

The next nine holes proved to be a sticking point for Cazaubon, as he bogeyed four times in that stretch to slip to 2 over. He birdied the fourth hole but closed his round out with a bogey on the ninth hole.

Cazaubon plays his final round with UNT today in the final round of stroke play. He tees off at 1:10 p.m.
