Led by Rodolfo Cazaubon and Jason Roets, the Mean Green is tied at 2-under par with No. 15 LSU for the clubhouse lead after 36 holes.
North Texas shot a first-round 293 and a 281 in second round, as the two teams led by nine strokes heading into today’s final two rounds.
Cazaubon is alone in second place — four shots down — after posting back-to-back scores of 2-under par 70. Roets is alone in fifth place at 1-under 143.
Curtis Donahoe, playing as an individual, is tied for ninth place after shooting 1-over 145 for the day.Carlos Ortiz is tied for 12th place after bouncing back from an opening round of 77 to shoot a 3-under par 69.
