Keep The Colony Beautiful will hold a leisurely, guided “Owl & Howl Prowl” of The Colony Shoreline Trail after hours.
The 1- to 2-mile hike will run from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 30.
Visitors can stay after hours to look for nocturnal animals and their tracks with Texas Master Naturalist Donna Cole. Cole will discuss how to listen for the animals and coexist peacefully with wildlife.
Hikers should meet at Lakeshore Boulevard and Lake Ridge Drive between 5:45 and 6 p.m. Bring water, and dress for the weather.
