The Highland Vilalge City Council has approved the lease-purchase of a new fire engine.
The 2014 Pierce Velocity PUC Fire Engine will replace the 1997 engine currently in use.
The new engine is built specifically for the city and includes the current safety technology. It will be designed and delivered in 10 months.
