Members of the Lewisville Area Retired School Personnel Association will conduct a legislative forum at their meeting Thursday.
The meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the William T. Bolin Administrative Center, 1565 W. Main St.
A panel of state representatives will address issues of importance to retirees, including health care. Bill Barnes, Legislative Committee chairman for the Texas Retired Teachers Association, will serve as moderator.
Light refreshments will be served, and those attending are eligible to participate in door prize drawings. Attendees are encouraged to bring a new or gently used book for the Children’s Book Project and a nonperishable food item to be donated to a food bank.
