A New York-based flooring company is moving its headquarters to Flower Mound.
Signature Systems Group LLC said this week that it will relocate its corporate offices and open a new distribution center in January at 1201 Lakeside Parkway.
The 30,000 square foot facility will include a showroom for customers to view the company’s products.
Signature Systems makes modular flooring and roadway systems for access and ground protection.
The company’s customers include special event, oil and gas, stadium, sports, military and disaster relief industries.
“Our upcoming move provides Signature with a tremendous opportunity for growth and development by enlarging our geographic footprint as we build for the future,” Signature’s CEO Seth Gordon said in a statement. “The brand-new corporate office and distribution facility in Dallas will give us improved access to our largest, under-serviced, domestic markets in Texas, Oklahoma, and America’s heartland.”
Signature currently has offices in New York, Florida, Baltimore and Los Angeles.
The company said it will maintain its regional sales, marketing, manufacturing and distribution facilities in New York.
Signature’s headquarters will be in the new Lakeside Ridge industrial development owned by Crow Holdings, which is being marketed by Stream Realty Partners.
The 153,000 square-foot building is just being completed near Lakeside Parkway and Long Prairie Road, north of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.
