Elwanda Jo Inmon Daniel, 92, of Aubrey, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2014, in Denton. She was born June 14, 1922, in Montague County to Otis and Phoebe (Bates) Inmon. Elwanda married Billy Joe Daniel on June 8, 1947, in Denton. She was a member of Liberty Congregational Methodist Church of Aubrey.
She is survived by her son, Derrell Daniel of Aubrey; four daughters, Sandy Hollar of Aubrey, Billie Jezek of Pilot Point, Fredlyn Daniel of Aubrey, Phoebe Hampton of Aubrey; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Bryan Daniel of Van; sister-in-law, Anna Daniel of Colorado Springs, CO; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; spouse, Billy; baby brother; sister, Lorene Judkins.
Visitation will be held 7:00 P.M., Thursday, October 9, 2014, at Slay Memorial Chapel of Aubrey. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, October 10, 2014, at First Baptist Church of Krugerville with Rev. Sam Redfearn officiating. Burial will follow at Belew Cemetery in Aubrey.
