Deborah Kay Parkey passed away on October 6, 2014. She was born on July 29, 1953, to Sam and Louise Reynolds. Debbie graduated from Krum High School and attended North Texas State University. Debbie married Benny Parkey of Krum on April 22, 1972. Debbie and Benny have one son, Eric Parkey, of Carrollton, Texas
She is preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Louise Reynolds. She is survived by two sisters, Jackie Beall and her husband, Joe, of Krum, Texas, Cynthia Blankenship and her husband, Gary, of Colleyville, Texas; two brothers, David Reynolds of Oklahoma, and Damon Reynolds and his wife Traci, of Valley View, Texas; sister-in-law, Barbara Legg and husband Max; and brother-in-law, Robert Parkey and wife Nancy. She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews, Angie Collum, Amy Daniels, Lisa Blankenship, Bailey Blankenship, Samantha Blankenship, Brooke Redfearn, Payton Reynolds, Sydney Reynolds, Zane Reynolds, Todd, Wendell and Amy Parkey, and Troy Legg and Edie Kahrhoff. She is also blessed with grand nieces and nephews, Justin and Rachel Wallace, Jordan and Dakota Collum, Jennifer Sanregret and Tatum Daniels.
A memorial service will be Friday, October 10, 2014, at 10:00 A.M. at DeBerry Funeral Chapel.
