REDI Global Technologies, a New York company that offers stock trading technology and software, announced Wednesday it has moved into a new 10,000-square-foot office in Plano.

The company settled into the new facility at 7800 North Dallas Parkway two weeks ago. The space will allow the company to double its current staff of 30 employees as it continues to grow. It also serves as a full disaster recovery site, meaning REDI can run its entire global network from the location, if necessary.

" The Plano facility provides us with a state-of-the-art base to serve our local clients from sales, support and development perspectives," said Clayton Meadows, REDI's head of business development for the Americas.

REDI previously had a small presence in Frisco, but hopes to further tap into the Texas market with its new Plano office.

"This move not only reaffirms our commitment to this community, but is also reflective of our growth ambitions here in Dallas," Meadows said. "Texas in general offers an abundant base of high-quality development talent, an excellent quality of life for our employees and a very favorable overall business environment in which to operate. Our decision to expand our business in the region was very much based on our desire to tap into this growing pool of talent to most effectively serve our local client base."
