Driving Directions to the College! TSTC is located in the heart of Texas, between Dallas and Austin. When driving on I-35, take exit 342-A about 5 miles north of Waco. Follow the TSTC signs east from the interstate and you’ll find the main entrance on your right.

One of a Kind! Texas State Technical College is the only state-supported technical college system in Texas, with the Waco college offering associate degrees and certificate programs in critical and emerging technologies, and producing over 32,000 graduates in its 45-year history.

TSTC Waco conferred more associate degrees than any Texas public college in: engineering-related technologies/technicians; communication and information sciences and support services; and precision production. Hands-on Education! TSTC associate degree programs put students in the classrooms and laboratories 27 to 30 hours a week while the average full-time, two-year and four-year college student is involved in the same activities only 15 to 20 hours a week!
