The entrance ramp to north bound Interstate-35E, just south of FM 407, will be closed Wednesday.
From 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., traffic will be detoured north on the frontage road to the next entrance ramp, according to a news release from 35Express. During the closure, crews will be setting up a concrete barrier to prepare for upcoming drainage work.
In addition, various north and south bound lanes of I-35E between Lake Dallas Drive and Highland Village Road will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m., Monday through Friday, April 11. During these closures, crews will be setting up a concrete traffic barrier and re-striping the roadway.
In Carrollton, motorists will be facing various nightly closures from 9 p.m. - 6 a.m. today through Sunday, March 30 on the south bound lanes between Luna and Crosby Roads, according to the release.
These closures are needed for work related to the 35Express project, an expansion of I-35E between US Highway 380 in Denton County and I-635 in Dallas County.
