B/E Aerospace revenue up 24 percent in Q3

B/E Aerospace saw revenue increase 24 percent in the third quarter of 2014, following higher earnings in the company's commercial aircraft, business jet and consumables management segments.

The Wellington-based company (Nasdaq: BEAV) manufactures aircraft cabin products and provides logistics services. The company had $1.1 billion in third-quarter revenue, compared to $888 million for the same period last year.

Net earnings were $102.2 million, compared to $92.7 million for the third quarter of 2013.

B/E Aerospace named a 12-year Boeing leader as its new chief financial officer Oct. 6. The company also announced a CFO for its subsidiary KLX Inc., which will soon spin off.
