Collie Boatright has been a shareholder and Board Member of Black Marlin since March of 2013. As owner of Boatright Properties, he has been the landlord for Black Marlin at its Smiley, Texas site since the Company’s inception. During the Company’s early development he supervised the initial site development work and provided interim financing for the site construction. He has also provided oversight for the development of the Company’s second site in Poteet, Texas.
Collie is a partner with Board Member and shareholder Lester Warzecha in BNW Ranch Services which provides custom farm ranch services and quarry mining for road base construction. He is also a collateral inspector for agricultural assets for Nixon State Bank and Sage Capital Bank. He is a licensed insurance adjuster for a number of major insurance companies including Farmers, State Farm, Allstate, and USAA.
Collie is a 1992 graduate of Texas A&M and returned to Smiley after college where his family and personal relationships have been a key benefit to the Company.
