Buy Ravens TicketsBALTIMORE (WJZ)– Former Raven running back Ray Rice is fighting back against the team for its decision to cut him over his domestic assault case.
Rice recently filed a grievance against the Ravens for wrongful termination. He says he should not have been fired when he was already suspended.
The player’s collective bargaining agreement allows only one punishment per infraction.
Rice is asking for the $3.5 million that he would have made playing for the Ravens this season.
The Ravens tell WJZ they were notified of the grievance but they have no other comment at this time.
Rick Ritter will have the latest on this story at 5 & 6 p.m.
