1. Dallas. At 6-1, the Cowboys have matched the starts of their 1992 and 1995 Super Bowl champions.

2. Denver. Peyton Manning is on track to win his fourth NFL passing title, but first with the Broncos, with a 118.2 efficiency rating.

3. Philadelphia. The Eagles are coming off their bye this week. Rest suits Philly - the Eagles are 20-5 all-time coming off byes.

4. Indianapolis. QB Andrew Luck is on pace to pass for 5,328 yards this season, third best in NFL history.

5. Green Bay. How does a team with QB Aaron Rodgers, RB Eddie Lacy and WR Jordy Nelson rank 25th in the NFL in offense?

6. Arizona. Is anyone doing a better job coaching a football team than Bruce Arians? His Cardinals are the surprising leader of the NFC West.

7. New England. The Patriots historically have been a low-penalty team under Bill Belichick. But they lead the NFL with 63 penalties in 2014.

8. Baltimore. The Ravens have not allowed a 100yard rusher in 17 consecutive games, the longest streak in the NFL.

9. Detroit. The Lions are 5-2 and have won their last two games without perennial Pro Bowl WR Calvin Johnson.

10. San Diego. The Chargers are the only team in the NFL that has not lost a fumble yet.

11. San Francisco. NFL officials have assessed 20-plus penalties in only 10 games this season. The 49ers have played in three of them.

12. Buffalo. The Bills are 43 but three of the wins have come against NFC foes: Chicago, Detroit and Minnesota.

13. Seattle. This doesn’t look much like the team that won 16 times a year ago on the way to its first Lombardi Trophy.

14. Cincinnati. Unlike the Lions, the Bengals can’t win without their best wide receiver. They are 0-1-1 the last two games without A.J. Green.

15. Pittsburgh. How good can the Steelers be without a suffocating defense? We’ll find out this season.

16. Cleveland. Andrew Hawkins had one of seven 100-yard receiving games on the road last weekend. All came in losing causes.

17. Carolina. Pro Bowl MLB Luke Kuechly leads the NFL with 82 tackles this season.

18. Kansas City. At 33, the Chiefs are a far cry from the 9-0 start of coach Andy Reid’s first season in 2013.

19. Miami. The Dolphins retooled their offensive line and have a Top 5 rushing attack as a result. They were 26th in rushing a year ago.

20. Chicago. The Bears are sinking in the NFC North because they can’t win at home. They are 0-3 at Soldier Field and 3-1 on the road.

21. NY Giants. The 49ers and Giants both have their scheduled byes this weekend. Both will be resting up following a loss.

22. Houston. The Texans sure miss Wade Phillips. Even with J.J. Watt, the defense has been defenseless.

23. St. Louis. The Rams begin a three-game road trip this weekend at Kansas City.

24. New Orleans. The Saints are 2-4 but may still be the team to beat in the NFC South. All four losses have come on the road.

25. Atlanta. The Falcons have failed to sack a quarterback in three games this season, worst in the NFL along with the Rams and Cowboys.

26. Tennessee. With an offensive time of possession of only 28 minutes, the Titans are placing way too much pressure on their defense.

27. Minnesota. The Vikings are starting to take Mike Zimmer’s new defense seriously with 10 sacks in their last two games.

28. Washington. The Redskins have been busy beating themselves, turning the ball over a league-high 15 times in a 2-5 start.

29. Jacksonville. Two teams are starting rookie quarterbacks, the Jaguars and Vikings, and they share the NFL lead with 11 interceptions.

30. NY Jets. The Jets are one of four teams that has not had a 100 yard receiver this season along with Chiefs, Dolphins and Rams.

31. Tampa Bay. The Buccaneers have allowed 204 points _ that’s 100 more than Baltimore in one fewer game than the Ravens.

32. Oakland. The winless Raiders have lost at home, on the road and in London.
