Blotter: Man says vehicle window was broken by a punch

A man told police his car window was shattered by his stepdaughter’s boyfriend, according to a report.

Police received a call of criminal mischief Saturday afternoon in the 400 block of Londonderry Lane. The caller said his stepdaughter’s boyfriend punched the vehicle’s window with a closed fist, causing an estimated $800 in damage.

700 block of Hercules Lane — A 28-year-old man was arrested Saturday evening on intoxication and marijuana charges after ramming his car into another vehicle, according to a police report.

Officers were dispatched at 7:45 p.m. after receiving a call about a motorist who was driving without headlights and struck a vehicle, police said.

Police report the suspect was found to be in possession of marijuana, and he was arreseted and transported to the city jail. He was charged with public alcohol intoxication and possession of marijuana, less than 2 ounces.
