Police make disorderly conduct arrest

A 22-year-old man was arrested early Friday on a charge of disorderly conduct, police said.

Police were dispatched to the 600 block of Fort Worth Drive at 1:20 a.m. Friday after receiving phone calls about a man’s behavior in a public location, reports show.

When officers arrived on the scene, witnesses were able to direct them to the location of the alleged suspect, who had been bothering a 19-year-old female.

He was picked up outside a nearby apartment unit and charged with disorderly conduct, police records show.

900 block of Londonderry Lane — Denton officers responded to a disturbance call after 10:30 p.m. Friday after a mother alleged her daughter had been in an altercation, police said.

According to reports, the 22-year-old daughter had been in a physical altercation with her boyfriend.

The boyfriend, police said, had left the scene before officers arrived.

Photos were taken of the 22-year-old’s injuries and a report was taken.

2100 block of Sadau Court — Someone reportedly stole items from a lingerie store Friday, according to police.

Witnesses reported a man came into the store around 9:30 p.m., grabbed some merchandise, and then quickly fled on foot.

3200 block of North Elm Street — A store owner reported two 24-packs of beer were stolen from a store late Friday.

From 7 a.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday:

Seventy-four people were booked into the Denton County Jail.

Denton police posted 15 reports online.

From Sept. 21 to Saturday:

Texas Woman’s University police responded to 107 calls for service, 22 reports, five escorts, eight moving violations and four arrests.

From Sept. 21 to Friday:

University of North Texas police made 15 arrests, issued five citations, and were investigating seven pending calls including theft and unlawful carrying of a weapon.
