State Sen. Jane Nelson will be the keynote speaker at the Denton County Republican Party’s meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Denton County Elections Administration office, 701 Kimberly Drive, Suite A101. Nelson, R-Flower Mound, is expected to give an update on the upcoming elections and a legislative preview.
A social hour for meeting attendees will start at 6 p.m., hosted by state Rep. Pat Fallon, R-Frisco.
The meeting is open to all interested Republicans. Elections personnel will be present before the meeting to deputize anyone who wishes to become a deputy registrar and to register voters.
