Authorities identified a woman recently killed in a single-vehicle accident in Krum.
Sandi Joann Boland, 48, of Krum, died after she crashed her white Ford Ranger pickup Tuesday morning on FM1173 near Barnett Road, according to Texas Department of Public Safety Sgt. Lonny Haschel.
He said the pickup was traveling west on FM1173 when Boland overcorrected and crossed the roadway, went into a ditch and overturned. The truck then struck a tree and utility pole. Boland died at the scene, Haschel said.
Officials said the cause of the accident is under investigation.
