…an email from Range spokesman Matt Pitzarella, who said the recycled water spill “was effectively managed more than a month ago, which at this time has shown no impacts.
This is the same thing Pitzarella said about the spill in PA when I was at the PSYOPS conference.
From my blog post on EARTHblog: Pitzarella might have missed the announcements be cause–BURNING IRONY ALERT–he missed a lot of the conference while he did “Crisis Management” on Range’s latest spill in Pennsylvania.
Does anyone else remember when Range Resources was drilling and spilling in McKenna Park in Denton, Texas? It was nasty business. That time they said the spill was flying drilling mud.
Range is also flaring in Cross Creek Park. I don’t think this is how a flare is supposed to operate.

How Can a Bully be a Good Neighbor?
Mar 14, 2013 – Last week, the roller coaster ride between some of the municipalities I represent and some of the extreme elements of the natural gas industry public-relations machine took a few more twists and turns. What has already been a bizarre relationship is getting more and more bizarre by the day.
Last month, Robinson Township Board of Supervisors was forced to turn down two drilling permit applications when the drilling company, Range Resources, refused to submit an adequate sound study or site plan. This alone was bizarre, since Range’s lawyers were given multiple chances to correct the situation but didn’t; the lawyer refused to answer any questions at one hearing and refused to participate in another.

Do you want to leave it in the ground and sit in a cold house ?
My home is toasty warm and I use an EPA low emissions wood burning stove and solar panels. We don’t have to stay stuck on stupid.
Let me ask you a question: Do you think it’s okay to contaminate our air water and soil, damage our public parks and create sacrifice zones?
