Tickets On Sale for the Dallas Observer Music Awards Showcase

It's been a little over a week now since voting opened, so we're just going to go ahead and ask: Have you filled out your Dallas Observer Music Awards ballot yet? If yes, congratulations. You're a champ. If not, it's okay; we understand what it's like to play the long game. In fact, voting will be open all the way until the DOMA ceremony itself happens, which will be in early December.

But before we get too far ahead of ourselves, we have the serious business to tend to of the DOMA Showcase, which takes place in Deep Ellum on Saturday, December 6. (When we say serious business, we of course mean "great big party.") Today's big news: Tickets for the showcase just went on sale. So get 'em while they're hot.

Tickets for the (deep breath) Chevy Music Showcase North Texas Presents the Dallas Observer Music Awards are available now at ticketfly.com. The cost for general admission tickets are an eminently reasonable $10, considering that a ticket will get you in to see more than 50 local bands on stages spread between Club Dada, The Door, The Green Room, Prophet Bar, Reno's Chop Shop, Three Links and Trees.

There are also VIP tickets available for the event, which cost $34. VIP includes access to all participating venues, 3 free drink tickets at the private bar, catered buffet and a free DOMA T-shirt.

Several bands have already been confirmed to play the Showcase (set times and locations will be announced at a later date), including A.Dd+, Blackstone Rangers, Booty Fade, Goodnight Ned, Ishi, Madison King, Pinkish Black, Quaker City Night Hawks, Sam Lao, Sealion and War Party.
