Prominent law firm has hit tough stretch

Bingham McCutchen, which boasts the best of Boston white shoe law firm lineages, has hit tough times, the Boston Globe reports.

The paper says Bingham McCutchen has shed partners and staff over the past year or so.

Moreover, the Globe says, revenue fell last year for the first time in eons.
