CLEVELAND (92.3 The Fan) – Ever since LeBron James penned “The Letter” announcing his return to the Cleveland Cavaliers, the anticipation has been building for this coming season.

This week Sports Illustrated will feature James along with All-Stars Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving on the cover of their annual ‘NBA Preview’ double issue.

On the cover, Irving is in the middle flanked by Love on the left and James on the right with the caption: “ALL THE KING’S MEN – LeBron James takes his team building talents back to Cleveland.”

Love is also quoted on the cover: “We want the pressure. We want the focus.”

The rebuilt Cavaliers, who won no more than 33 games in the 4 years that James played in Miami, are among the favorites to win it all this season and end Cleveland’s 50-year championship drought.

Aside from the trade for Love, former NBA champions Shawn Marion, Mike Miller and James Jones joined James in signing with the Cavaliers this offseason.

Cleveland tips the season off Thursday, Oct. 30 at home against the New York Knicks at 8:00 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on TNT.

The Cavaliers will play 29 times in front of a national TV audience this season including at Miami on Christmas day and Easter Sunday at home against the Chicago Bulls.
