From Buckhead to Johns Creek and all the way out around Lake Oconee, Georgians love their mansions. Homes inspired from traditional antebellum architecture, but showcase hip modern tech savvy features, can be seen in the Peach State's most elegant neighborhoods.

This week's home of the week is a European, Tudor-style gated estate at 3270 Nancy Creek Road NW that is listed by Kevin Knox of Hirsh Real Estate Specialists for $12.9 million.

The 17,943-square-foot stone mansion sits on five acres with a covered patio with a fireplace and built-in BBQ, gardens, a swimming pool with a spa and a circular (semi) motor court.

It was designed by William T. Baker of Atlanta-based William T. Baker & Associates and built in 2008.

The mansion has seven bedrooms, seven full baths, five half-baths and features a paneled foyer with a grand oak staircase, an elevator, two kitchens, a vaulted family room with a stone fireplace, a 1,500 bottle wine cellar with a tasting room, a 12-seat home theater, a mirrored gym and a four-car garage.
