Fans sell out 'one last game' for freshman fighting brain disease

Hopefully you've heard Lauren Hill's story by now. She's the brave 19-year-old basketball player, unlikely to live past December because of a brain condition called Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma, who just wants to play in her first college basketball game.

Her Mount St. Joseph squad will face Hiram College on Nov. 2 at Xavier's Cintas Center. The game was moved to a larger venue to accomodate a bigger crowd. Maybe they underestimated just how big that crowd would be.

On Wednesday, Hill's big game sold out a 10,250-seat arena in 45 minutes.

Hill recently met with Bengals defensive lineman Devon Still, who has been championing the fight against cancer because of his 4-year-old daughter Leah's personal battle.
